Thoughtonomy CEO recognised with NOA Automation Champion nomination

London, UK, 18th April 2016

The National Outsourcing Association (NOA) has released its final shortlist for the NOA’s fourth annual Professional Awards – the only awards ceremony solely dedicated to celebrating the talents of those working across the outsourcing industry.

Thoughtonomy are delighted that founder and CEO Terry Walby has been included as a finalist in the category of “Automation Champion of the Year”.

The NOA’s Professional Awards are a distinct set of accolades recognising talent in outsourcing and shared services, showcasing individuals and functional teams who make a big difference, but often remain largely unsung in the wider context of the global sourcing industry.

The distinguished individuals and teams will be celebrated at the Awards Ceremony on Thursday 19th May 2016 and this year will take place at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.

On the same day, Terry will take part in the NOA Excellence in Outsourcing event, joining a panel of experts to debate the topic of automation in relation to those who provide, support and consume outsourcing services.

Terry’s inclusion comes as a result of his role as a champion of automation in outsourcing services, both as an outsourcing provider, and then more recently in bringing innovative automation solutions to market. The pinnacle of a firm belief that automation has the potential to transform business services, and a passion that adoption will be underpinned by ease of consumption and a low cost of entry,  is Thoughtonomy’s Virtual Workforce platform which combines cloud technology principles with the power of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to deliver a highly scalable and secure enterprise-class Software as a Service (SaaS) platform which can be used to automate structured human activity through an elastic pool of virtual worker resources. Use cases include a wide range of IT and business processes, and clients span the outsourcing and service provider marketplaces, as well as enterprise clients in financial services, telecoms, utilities, public sector and more.
