Thoughtonomy wins GSA Award for ‘European Automation Project of the Year
Thoughtonomy’s team celebrate a victorious win for the Global Sourcing Association (GSA) Award ‘European Automation Project of the Year’, which recognised the innovation, excellence and best practice of Thoughtonomy’s work with European outsourcer Computacenter and the delivery of the Virtual Workforce® into Computacenter’s Next Generation Service Desk (NGSD).
The NGSD solution utilises Thoughtonomy’s Virtual Workforce® to automate over 89% automation of addressable activities, and has enabled Computacenter to increase online interaction with their Service Desk from 9% to 61%. Location, language and tool agnostic, the service currently delivers value across 9 European countries and in 27 languages.
The Global Sourcing Association (GSA Award), at their inaugural summit in Sofia, Bulgaria, introduced European Automation Project of the Year as a new category in recognition of the impact automation is having on the world of outsourcing, and attracted a very strong shortlist.
Kerry Hallard, CEO of the GSA, commented: “This year’s shortlist was indicative of the high standard of outsourcing programmes being implemented across Europe, and demonstrates the ever- growing diversity of services and collaborations in this dynamic global sourcing industry. The awards are truly representative of the best and brightest that European outsourcing has to offer, with innovation, collaboration and customer-centricity inherently featured throughout.
We congratulate Thoughtonomy on their recognition and on the innovation they are bringing to the industry.”
Terry Walby, Chief Executive of Thoughtonomy, said “We are thrilled to have been recognised with this prestigious GSA Award. The GSA is the industry association and professional body for the global sourcing industry, and for them to have selected us for this accolade is fantastic for all of the Thoughtonomy team.”
